Because of the widespread and pervasive use of preservatives in our foods and the drastic increase in modified foods in our diet, people today, especially in modern countries have more digestive problems than any other generation.
This is an epidemic in the United States where food is more highly processed and less nutritious than anywhere else on Earth. The high sugar and carbohydrate intake is a fuel that promotes the fungus and molds (like Candida) that we have growing in our gut. The preservatives in food that are designed to kill bacteria in the bread, cereal, canned and dried food products are killing the good bacteria that we need in our gut.
Further, widespread and over prescribed antibiotic use disrupts the body’s bacterial balance resulting in numerous digestive related problems.
While there is a rising effort to stay away from processed foods and reduce our carbohydrate and sugar intake by eating healthier local organic produce we are a nation plagued with disease and obesity because of our dietary habits. We have to learn to both correct and then maintain healthier alternatives and lifestyles. It is important to first repair the debilitated state in which we now find our guts.
Developing a habit of introducing and using probiotics into our diets is a positive first step. Nature’s Rite Digestive and Rehabilitation Kit focuses on a three-pronged approach to this rehabilitation process.
All of this can be accomplished by a systematized regimen holistically and naturally.
In order to accomplish the first step, we need to introduce a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that is both bio-compatible and also significantly kills the bacteria and fungus in our gut. The Digestive and Urinary Tonic (DUT) by Nature’s Rite is a product that has been developed as an active agent to kill fungus and bacteria. It is an enhanced aqueous colloid of silver that is optimized to clear the microbes out of your gut.
DUT should be taken in a regimen of bolus dosing of 2 ounces every 2 hours. It should be taken on an empty stomach and can be continued for two or three days consuming one full bottle per day. Be sure to remember that mixing a colloid of silver with anything containing salt will neutralize the positive effects and also that food will tend to do this, thereby causing it to work less effectively.
Taking the DUT on an empty stomach and not eating for an hour afterwards maximizes the effect. After two or three days maintaining this protocol, you will have significantly reduced the amount of bacteria and fungus in your gut.
Once the bacteria and fungus have been reduced, it is time to introduce a regimen of probiotics into your diet. Any quality probiotic may be used to reestablish the fauna of bacteria necessary to support proper digestion and nutrient extraction from your food.
The probiotic ingestion should be continued for at least a month. While there are several products on the market that claim large numbers of active bacteria, not as many bacteria survive the digestion process and flourish in the gut as the purveyors of these products would have you believe.
Therefore, it is important to maintain the regimen for at least a month. The cost of the probiotic does not necessarily equate to its efficacy. The most important key to success is to allow the probiotics an environment where they are not fighting to survive and that is why you want to make sure to clean out as many of the bad bacteria and fungus as possible initially.
The third step in this process is to repair the epithelial lining. The years of antibiotics, preservatives and sugar have allowed a fauna of pathogens that have been literally eating away at your intestinal lining each and every day for years. The intestinal tissue has to be healed.
This healing is done in tandem with the introduction of probiotics immediately after the initial 2- to 3-day dosing process with DUT. The initial dosing is followed with the introduction into your diet of a mixture of herbs that are specifically designed to heal the tissues, increase mucus to protect the region and reduce histamine sensitivity, thus allowing the intestines to rebuild a healthy effective lining.
The following herbs are suggested for use: Plantain, Licorice, Aloe Vera, Peppermint, Marshmallow root and Slippery Elm bark.
Further, the use of vitamins to build new tissue is important. We suggest the use of basic building blocks such as 2000mg of Vitamin C, 10,000 IUs of Vitamin D and a good B-complex taken on a daily basis.
The GI tract is critical not only for the absorption of nutrients through digestion, but also to maintain the proper operation of your immune system. A non-functional or poorly functioning digestive system can cause a myriad of health problems as it produces nutritional deficiencies and a compromised immunity system.
Step 1: Take 2 ounces of Digestive and Urinary Tonic (DUT) every 2 hours on an empty stomach for 2 to 3 days. Refrain from eating for at least an hour after drinking it. This is the equivalent of one bottle per day.
Step 2: After the 2-3 days of using DUT as described above, introduce probiotics into your diet for one month.
Step 3: In addition to the probiotics, also take the herbal capsules in a regimen of one in the morning and one in the evening during this same month. And lastly, supplement the probiotics and the herbs with the suggested vitamins as well.
This will complete Bottle One and Day One for the Morning Dosing regimen.
Repeat the same regimen for Day Two.
As an alternative, if you wish to take your DUT does in the evening, this is an example to follow:
This will complete Bottle One and Day One of the Evening Dosing regimen.
Repeat this plan for Day Two.
